When will the health insurance charge appear on my student account?

The health insurance charge is typically listed on the July billing statement.

My department said I will receive a health insurance subsidy; when will that be applied to my student account?

It depends on your funding source. Generally, your entire subsidy will be applied to your student account in October. Sometimes, 50% of the subsidy will be applied to your student account in October and the other 50% of the subsidy will be applied to your student account in February. If applicable, you should pay for your portion of the health insurance charge by the deadline indicated on the IRISHPAY statement on which the health insurance charge is listed. If you can’t pay your portion of the health insurance charge by that time, please contact our office to make satisfactory payment arrangements.

How do I waive the health insurance?

It you have private health insurance and do no wish to participate in the University-sponsored insurance plan, you must complete a waiver form and show proof of insurance to University Health Services. For additional information, including the deadline to submit a waiver form and provide proof of other insurance, please visit the University Health Services website.
